In Bangladesh, the spread of the dengue virus has been observed for many years, resulting in over 400 deaths. The epidemic has been raging in the country since May and has claimed the lives of even those who quickly sought medical help.

According to the Ministry of Health of Bangladesh, the total number of infected has reached more than 44,000 people. The situation has become particularly acute in the capital of the country, Dhaka, where dozens of deaths have been recorded in recent days. Authorities have urged citizens to implement preventive measures, such as the destruction of mosquito-breeding sites.

"We see an increasing number of patients suffering from high temperatures and severe headaches, which are classic symptoms of dengue," emphasized the chief doctor of one of the hospitals in Dhaka.
